Program Bimbingan Untuk Mengembangkan Kendali Diri Siswa SMA
This research is based on the number of cases of violation phenomena done by
the senior high school students, such as the melee between students (fighting /
tawuran), quarreling with the teachers' students, the use of drugs, read and
see the porno magazines and videos, talk rough or dirty, and so forth. Goal of
this research is to find out: 1) a general self-control students, 2) a
description of the objective guidance and counseling services, and 3) formulate
a program to develop guidance for high school students self-control. Self-control
in this research is an effort to influence the pattern of individual thought
and habit in the surrounding environment, while the guidance program is a
program that is used in the guidance are integrated in the process of guidance
and counseling in high school that prepared the analysis refers to the
conceptual findings and self-control field profile associated with self-control
students and the condition of objective guidance and counseling services in
schools.

Research using this quantitative approach with descriptive methods. Research
aimed at students 35 high school class X BPPI Regency Bandung academic year
2008/2009. Data collection instrument used was a scale developed by the author
and has been tested try.
Based
on analysis of data obtained research results are as follows: 1) In general,
high school students' class X BPPI Regency Bandung 2008/2009 academic year can
not control themselves well; 2) guidance and counseling program that has been a
part of program development, and 3 ) Program guidance to develop self-control
high school students who have been in the bucket can be said successful author,
as the increase in student self-control that are significant.

Based on the results obtained, it can be recommended to: 1) the school to expand
the reach of the identification and provision of assistance programs to develop
self-control, creating a conducive school environment, room service provide
adequate guidance, to provide a budget for special guidance and counseling
activities; 2) teachers' guidance and counseling program to use the guidance to
develop self-control students should be given to all students, the provision of
services appropriate to the needs of students, prepare a more variety
activities, the use of school facilities to implement guidance or counseling
groups, counseling programs are comprehensive, evaluation guidance program that
measured and appropriate conditions; 3) researchers to conduct further research
using a similar approach to research methods and a more diverse, expanding the
scope of population research more relatively large, the search for other
populations and relatively diverse, formulate a program to develop guidance for
self-control students high school with a full component.
